A Comedy of Agency, 2022

This piece, and its multiple iterations, are panoramic, oil-painted installations. In a Comedy of Agency, I investigate images of the past and present juxtaposed in a surrealist landscape. In this inhabitable installation, viewers’ physical images and identities collide with images that give context to our lives, experiences, and perceptions. I aim to emphasize the power of images by centering viewership as their catalyst.
